Spectra-Mat, Inc. (SMI) is a materials technology company founded in 1963 that is vertically integrated to provide innovative material solutions for our customer’s requirements. Our “Powder to Parts” materials expertise has been satisfying diverse customer requirements in thermal management since the early 1990’s.
Core to our business for over forty-five years, SMI’s refractory metal technology produces superior low expansion materials. Our control of processes ensures that the composition of the material is uniform and homogenous. Hermeticity of the material creates a high reliability product for microelectronic or optoelectronic packaging.
